The Lizzards have been promoting the LizzardPalooza since 2001 it is still going strong. Click on the images below to view pictures of Paloozas gone by.
The first three LizzardPaloozas were a bit rustic. We had no covered building for the darts. Only the blue sky in the day and the stars at night as cover. Oh, and a few large tarps. Needless to say it rained the first three years. Rick and Denise Lowery were married at LizzardPalooza 2003.
The LizzardPalooza emerged from the stone age in 2004. Chuck Phillips, a long time fried of the Lizzards, donated funds to build the quonset structure, pictured left, to house our darting event. We feared no rain and of course for the next six years we had no rain at the Palooza. Coincidense? It was a great addition.
LizzardPalooza 2005 was the last year the Lizzards awarded the very unique sandblasted stone plaques. These plaques were made by our own Linda Lu and were a very coveted trophy.
2006
Head Lizzard took a year off in 2006. The "Not So LizzardPalooza" was held that year. There was a tee shirt with the question "Where the hell is H.L.". Need I say more?
A three legged sack race! Seriously? It's true. Anything goes at LizzardPalooza from upside down cricket to three legged sack races. Looks like Bubba's Nekked BBQ is fattening up the Head Lizzard a bit.
