More great times at Raggedy's Club. Lee Nicholson one of the first presidents of the Wichita Darting Association (far left) and Pat (Fat Pat) Byrnes raking in the awards in1981. I don't know the name of the darter at the far right.

Ed Wright (center) rakes in another award at Raggedy's .Ed was instrumental in the early pioneering of darting in Wichita. A great guy and a formidalble opponent. You can still see him out throwing at various local events.

Left to Right are Ronnie Sigwing, Fat Pat Byrnes, and Larry Hall. Ronnie threw his darts as fast as he could grab them and made short work of many oponents both locally and in regional play. Fat Pat was a very good darter and a great guy. He passed away some years ago and is missed and fondly remembered. Larry "Mr. Bull" Hall was an excellent darter who I (HL) had the pleasure of having as a teammate for several years in the early eighties. Is that Ed Wright in the background? Could be.

Ronnie Sigwing and Don King. Don was one of the early darters in Wichita. He was a very good player as were many of the darter's back in the day. Don passed away a number of years back.

The WDA as you can see has been represented for many years in ADO Regional events by some fine shooters. Ronnie Sigwing pictured above was a finalist at the Men's All-Star Regional way back in 1986.
Below is a flyer from a tournament that was very popular with the Wichita Darters. The Black Gold Classic held in Oklahoma City was an excellent event and very convenient to get to.
