Bubba Leffew is a good friend and supporter of the Lizzards and takes great pleasure in fattening us up.We had the good fortune to meet Bubba a few years back. He was shooting steel tip darts with the Dart Frogs and in the Wichita Darting Association.Stop into Bubba's Nekked BBQ and say hello.The platter he is holding at the right says it all. Bubba claims his restaurant is smoke free. Now that's funny! You may not be exposed to any tobacco products but you will be exposed to a kind of smoke that will make your mouth water. Along with the pungent smells of the smoked meats you will enjoy the down home atmosphere of Bubba's.Bubba smokes and rubs his own meat (as he will freely admit) in his secret blend of spices. Using hand picked hardwoods to add that flavor only smoked food can give you.As advertised his smoked meats are so good you won't need sauce. However, if sauce is your thing you can pour on some of Bubba's homemade regular or chipotle BBQ sauce. Either way you go you are in for a huge treat! I am here to tell you it is as good as it gets. Bubba's cooking has become a mainstay at the LizzardPalooza and he is one of our biggest supporters and contributors.
